%LEL (Lower Explosive Limit): The minimum volumetric concentration of combustible gas in air capable of igniting. For Methane (CH4), 100% LEL corresponds to roughly 5.0% volume in air. Detectors alarm early at 10% or 25% LEL.
PPM (Parts Per Million): A trace measurement scale utilized for highly toxic gases such as Carbon Monoxide (CO) or Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S), where concentrations of 30–50 ppm present immediate physiological hazards.

The SD6200 contains an internal high-current driver circuit connected to external output terminals. When methane or LPG exceeds the pre-set threshold (typically 7% LEL), the detector's MCU initiates an 85dB audible alarm, flashes red visual warning LEDs, and discharges a rapid DC 9V–12V pulse (duration <1.5 seconds) to the JYFJS-011 aluminum alloy electromagnetic solenoid shut-off valve. The magnetic latching mechanism releases instantly, sealing the gas pipeline in under 1 second. The valve requires manual mechanical reset after the environment is ventilated and inspected, preventing automatic gas restoration before the hazard is neutralized.
